The Bradford Board of Trade, a not-for-profit organization based in Bradford, Ontario, is seeking professional bookkeeping services to manage our financial records and ensure accurate and transparent financial reporting. We are interested in partnering with a qualified bookkeeping/accounting firm to assist us in maintaining our financial stability and compliance with regulatory requirements.
About Bradford Board of Trade:
The Bradford Board of Trade is a prominent local organization dedicated to fostering economic growth, community development, and business networking in the Bradford area. Our mission is to support and promote local businesses, while enhancing the overall economic vitality of our community.
Scope of Services:
We are looking for a reliable and experienced bookkeeping firm to provide comprehensive bookkeeping services, including but not limited to:
- General Ledger Maintenance:
– Maintain a detailed general ledger, accurately recording all financial transactions.
– Reconcile bank statements and other financial records regularly.
– Ensure proper classification and accurate posting of financial data.
- Financial Reporting:
– Prepare monthly, and annual financial statements.
– Generate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Payroll Services:
– Process payroll accurately and timely, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes.
– Prepare and distribute pay stubs to employee(s).
– Ensure compliance with relevant payroll laws and regulations.
- Regulatory Compliance:
– Assist in the preparation and filing of necessary tax forms and returns.
– Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and reporting standards.
– Provide support during financial audits, if required.
Proposal Submission:
Interested firms are requested to submit the following information as part of their proposal:
- Company Profile:
– Provide an overview of your company, including its history, experience, and areas of expertise.
– Highlight your experience in providing bookkeeping services to not-for-profit organizations.
- Team Qualifications:
– Describe the qualifications and experience of the bookkeeping team members who will be assigned to our organization.
– Provide details of any relevant certifications held by the team members.
- Proposed Approach:
– Describe your proposed approach to providing bookkeeping services to the Bradford Board of Trade.
– Explain how you would ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Pricing and Terms:
– Provide a detailed breakdown of your fee structure for the services outlined in the scope of services.
– Specify the billing frequency and any additional costs or charges.
- Timeline:
