The Bradford Board Of Trade Business Excellence Awards is an effort to highlight the dedicated and talented business community in Bradford West Gwillimbury. Businesses must be within BWG or a member in good standing with the BBT. There is no cost to businesses to be considered for an award, nor are they required to be a member of BBT. Our focus is to encourage BWG businesses to grow and thrive.
Our Business Excellence Award nominees are nominated by members of the public from April to September. Each business then has the opportunity to accept the nominations. Our esteemed judging panel is selected from across BWG as community officials and business leaders. All judging is completed online. Judges are not aware of each other’s assignments or identities. All judging is completed on a standard scale. Placements are only discussed in person in the event of a tie, at the Judge’s Appreciation Luncheon. Businesses may accept multiple nominations in different categories however can only win one award per year.
The Business Excellence Awards Gala is held in October. This year our theme was “Paint The Town Red”. Our guests were encouraged to wear red and thoroughly enjoyed the evening at Cardinal Golf Club.
