CALL TO ARTISTS
On April 22, 017 the Bradford Board of Trade will be presenting their annual Bradford Home & Lifestyle Show. In conjunction with this show the BBT will be sponsoring a celebration of arts featuring local artists. There will be artists and artisans along with local musicians and a cafe to site with a warm drink and enjoy the atmosphere.
This is a high traffic event, and an excellent opportunity to promote yourself as an artist and your work.
To be considered for this event you must:
- Submit an application
- Submit three (3) .jpgs of your work
- $40 entry fee (plus HST $45.20)
- Supply an artist statement or bio to be used in advertising the event
- All work must be original and by the originator. No prints, reproductions, kits or massed produced items. Everything must be one of a kind
Booths are 8×8. Two artists\artisans can exhibit together, but each must submit the required photos, paperwork and be approved.
Work exhibited can be for sale or not.
Artists are responsible for setting up and taking down their work and for the means to display the work, easels, grids, etc and insurance for their work. There will be a few tables available for those lacking display equipment.
ALL ENTRIES WILL BE JURIED. Decisions of the jury are final. Submissions will be considered in the order of payments received. At the last Art Oasis a few artists had to be turned away due to lack of space so get your entry & payment in early.
